Right To Manage questionnaire

Buildings owned by local housing authorities are generally ineligible for RTM. Specifically, a local housing authority mustn’t be the immediate landlord of any of the leaseholders of the individual flats.

Note that a housing authority is not the same as a housing association, which would normally be a private, non-government body.

A local housing authority is one of:

• a district council
• a London borough council
• the Common Council of the City of London
• a Welsh county council or county borough council
• the Council of the Isles of Scilly.
